Spatiotemporal Variation and Driving Analysis of Groundwater in the Tibetan Plateau Based on GRACE Downscaling Data

The special geographical environment of the Tibetan Plateau makes ground observation Ground Water Storage (GWS) changes difficult, and data obtained from GRACE gravity satellites can effectively solve this problem. However, it is difficult to investigate detailed GWS because coarser spatial resolution data. In paper, we constructed a 0.1° groundwater storage anomalies (GWSA) dataset on 2002 2020 based phased statistical downscaling model analyzed spatiotemporal variation driving factors GWSA in order better study Qinghai Tibet Plateau. results show that: (1) 12 sub-basins, before after very high correlation time series relatively good performance consistency, downscaled indicate consistent trend with measured level.
